Zinnia Season is a favorite in our family. And apparently they were also a fave of the critters that had free access to the garden all summer. I didn’t have many, but the ones that made it were stunning.
Every print begins as a drawing that I carve by hand into a linoleum block. I make each print by hand, one at a time, so no two are exactly alike. Small variations in texture and ink coverage are part of the handmade process. I print on Somerset, a 100% cotton, archival printmaking paper made in England, using Cranfield's Caligo Safe Wash inks.
The image measures 4" × 6” on 8” × 10” paper, with generous margins, so it fits a standard frame with or without a mat. This design is currently available in black. Each color is a separate edition of 25, signed and numbered.
