I planted these poppies in the garden five years ago when we moved in -- now they reseed themselves and pop up all over the place! They don't last long, so I sketch and paint them the moment they open. This year there was a gentle rain, and they looked so lovely with water drops on them. So I brought one into the greenhouse and had a little fun (they do not grow all twisted like that:).
