This was the last painting in the series of paintings I did in the spring of 2024, and it is my favorite. The leaves on the crababble (Malus sp.) matched my cheery spring mood perfectly.
The crabapple trees are blooming all over town right now, and I wish they would keep on all summer! But like so many stunning spring flowers, they show up and delight us with their almost unbelievable beauty and then quickly disappear until next year.
