Let’s exchange the gray of the SE Michigan in winter for the sweet warm air, smell of fresh soil, and the sounds of the babbling koi pond in Graye’s Greenhouse.
Join me for an afternoon in the greenhouse to make some beautiful, botanically inspired art.
All the materials you need for the classes are included
Each class includes one plant valued at $6.00. If you would like a more expensive plant, or just more plants! - they will be available for purchase during class.
The classes will be limited to 12 participants, so there will be plenty of time to receive individual help.
You will leave the class with your painting and and a special participant packet including color handouts .
In this class you will learn the fundamentals of painting plants with watercolor. We will focus on painting techniques (If you want more instruction on drawing, take the botanical drawing class first). If you are a beginner, you will make a botanical study in color. If you are more advanced, or if you work quickly, you may complete a full botanical painting. They are both beautiful!
